My opinion about Cat on a hot tin roof film

I found the film named Cat on a hot tin roof very interesting because it talks about how the 50's and 60's society was. The story surprised me because it tells the drama of a family whose father is slowly dying of cancer and everyone knows about his illness but the main character. Here we can see how fool the main character is because he's not aware of it. This film is full of many contradictory feelings such the honesty and dishonesty, also betrayal, confusion between many others. It make reference to other social problems, for instance alcoholism or homosexuality. Also the fight between truth and lie, the role of the woman in the 50's. I found really fascinating how you can visualise the sexual appetite of the woman against her fight to protect her privacy and take care of her husband. In my opinion Maggie represents the beginning of a woman who's fallen in love, and convinced that she's getting back her husband, despite she's alone against the pr...

Reality is not what it looks like

Reality is not what it looks like Are we living in a simulation? This question has tried to be answered by many specialists, involving physicists, mathematicians and philosophers among many others. The concept of the simulation theory explains that reality is not as real as we think, but a simulation running in a super computer created by a superior being. An example which is in favour of this theory is the videogame named "The Sims" which represents different characters socializing with others and tries to mimic reality. In the game you can control the characters and their actions but if you don't, they would act depending on their needs, ressembling very accurately human behaviour. This proves that characters in the game believe being living a real life, although they are in a simultion which tricks their minds to make them think that their reality is as real as ours. The simulation theory might sound very imaginative and bizarre, but actually this to...
